    Sedici Como Tankbag Review

I just got a Sedici Como tankbag from the Cycle Gear store in Knoxville.

I like it so far. I just wanted something small, so it fits that role.

I had asked about the Sedici Garda and it did seem too big in the store.

    1) Here's the Como in place:

    2) It has 4 magnets. Sitting there only the two on the sides were holding, making it a little less than totally secure. I glued a steel washer to the gas cap and the 3 points of contact make a big difference.

    3) A 4th point of contact would be even more secure. I may see about slipping a small piece of steel under the seat cover in the right place.

    4) Reviews said an iPhone 6+ or 7+ would not fit - my 6+ does, but only out of its Otterbox case.

    5) In my first few outings, it's been really handy. I had my gun and phone in there and it's quite easy to pop on and off. I'll probably dig up a shoulder strap for it to free up my hands.

In any case, pleased with my purchase so far.

    You're welcome.

Seems very well made and durable for a reasonable $50.

Thanks for the review. Good idea with the washer on gas cap.

    For $50.00 that's a good deal.

I used the same bag in moab. It barely holds to tank, slid all over and flew off one time.

I think with just the two side magnets, it would be too insecure for serious off-road.

The gas cap washer helps a lot. I think the fourth under or on the seat tongue will have it stuck on pretty securely.

But it would take some serious off-road to prove it, and that will gave to wait awhile.

In any case, I bought it more for errand-running, and not necessarily offroad. For that, my small tail bag and a small backpack will probably suffice.

The one I borrowed was an older version and did not have gas cap washer and thingy for seat. That would help a lot. It will work great for errand running.

I bought one of the Coleman tank bags and found the magnets to be lacking. I went to Lowes and bought a couple of independent magnets that are roughly 1" x 2" x 3/4" . You can place them wherever is best and they hold like a BEAST!
