How do you find other "older" couples who might be interested in exploring back roads and FS roads in WA? And is there a way to find out about TW200 organized rides/campouts in WA?

They are usually in the Trails, Off-road, and Adventure Riding section. You could start your own thread there if you like.

The totally underused but potentially valuable forum group section.

At the very top of this page below "Active Topics" is a subheading called "Community" where you can find and meet other Washington forum riders, they seem to be a really fun group. All young at heart, but a few possibly qualifying as "older" if you peeked at their driver's licenses.
And by all means try Rockies suggestion.
    Welcome!

Yer right Borneo, I was so busy composing my eloquent response I didn't notice you posting the speedy silver bullet solution. Besides, now he knows how to find it on his own.

Ahh, I overlooked the closeness in time of those posts. Mea culpa.

Never joined a forum before so have patience with my lack of skill in using the website. I am excited to know there is a group of "older" TW200 lovers out there. Will definitely plan to join you for some rides this summer. We are headed to Montesano tomorrow (to pick up a new puppy) - will be exploring potential camping spots - looks like a great area for riding. I think I joined the WA group. I will update our profile.

Hi guys, welcome to the forum. It's always nice to see the Washington TW representation grow. There are plenty of good folks to ride and explore with in WA. There is a WA specific thread that is a "sticky" with lots of good state related stuff. Feel free to post on there if you are looking for riding buddies or planning to go out at a certain time/place. We love to putt around and explore...that is what a tdub is for!
