Yeah, it's pretty much universally legal. I've got an acquaintance in Ohio who lost and eye in his 20's, rides all the time. And rides well.

What is the prognosis for restoring your vision? I assume time will tell how much recovery you will achieve but let's think positively. Can't have Sue radioing you all the time saying: "Tree ahead Honey, please swerve a little to the left"

I was in my late 30's when my mother had cataract surgery on one eye. I asked her if she had any plans to have the other eye done, and she replied - "There's no need, I've never had vision in that eye." I never knew that until then!
(Growing up, I would have bet she had eyes in the back of her head !)
