    factory stickers

I got that damn Warning sticker on my tank from the factory and want to remove it. Is a heat gun the best way to do this job?

I would use a hair dryer, less chance of melting things

I found a heat gun, some goo gone, and approximately one beer was all that was needed to remove all of the warning decals from my bike. Then I stuck them all over my friend's garage at his cabin, so that's exciting!

The same day I got mine I got rid of every sticker but the safety inspection.

paint thinner/varsol will take off any residue left over.

Take it easy with a heat gun on the plastic shrouding though..I put a very slight warp in one of my side panels.

Oh this wasn't a big job, a standard 12 oz can was enough for this

I de-stickered mine too. Also took off the flaming skulls that the prior owner had on it.
Just went slow and peeled mine, no heat used. Be careful with what solvent you use on the plastics though, or you'll lose that shine the plastics have.
