Good idea; but carrying a folding chair can be a bit bulky. Especially on a TW.

Good creative use for a nice, Stone-Age technology transportation tool. (I say that with great affection - I'm genetically afflicted with Luddism).

What size does it fold up to?

I have a canvas folding chair, too. It's light and compact - but it's still a yard long, even folded up.

The Helinox, as well as a number of similar chairs, fold up pretty small.

I gave my uncomfortable Crazy Creek "chair" to Goodwill after I got one of these. Light, compact, comfortable, awesome.
