New TW 200 for me before the summer is over.

I some how stumbled across a pic of a TW on the Web and fell in love. I haven't had a bike since my motocross days 30 years ago but really miss riding. No longer having the need for speed and without health insurance the TW looks like a good way to get back on two wheels. Glad I found this site too. Have been reading all I can till eyes won't stay open. Hope to have a TW before summer is over.

You will love it. Don't wait too long to get one, Do it soon, ASAP! Life is short. Your story is mine basically MX when young, 30 year break and back in the saddle. I think I missed working on them as much as riding.

    Welcome from NJ!

I just got my Dub not too long ago. It is more fun than... well anything worth talking about on a family friendly forum.

I find a lot pf us here in the same boat as far as off bikes and coming back to a TW and loving it,
You may live close enough to someone who will let you take a peak at their bike,
Im in Phila and Pittsburgh Pa and your welcome to swing by,
Easy to ride and maneuver at low speeds,
In my opinion, All the fun these TWs offer is under 40 Mph and you can't beat it !
    Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the great welcome guys. I'm in upstate New York. Not near as many places to ride off road here as when I was a kid. I'll find somewhere though.

    Welcome little buddy.

Plenty of places to ride on road too. Forget 81 and 90 take the back roads. Buffalo to Albany, Endicott to Alex bay, NY is an amazing state to ride.
'87, '90, 90 & '91 XT350's. It's a family thing, wife says its an enabling thing. Saving up for a TW of my own.
Looking for anything Yamaha XT or related. especially a brake caliper and master cylinder.
