For a new engine I'd probably pay $1,000.00

I'd pay for 350cc or better. Not for another 25cc though.

I totally hear you on that. What engine would you suggest? what engine that you want is a 350cc. I would personally love to cram a YZ450F into it if it wasn't water cooled.

Reminds me when I put a ct 110 motor in my ct 90. I think I gained 4mph. What a letdown.

Then I rode a trail 90 that had a Chinese 150cc motor in it and HOT DAMN then I really felt a difference

I would love to see a small twin cylinder, more torque & more Hp. Use to have a CM400 Honda, was a great engine and easy to service.

25cc and no other changes? No, don't think so. Not worth the gain in power to pay the shipping from Japan. I'd still be saving for a 73x63 bore and stroke, headwork, cam, square slide, 6-speed build.

Extra 25cc? No thanks, love the 200cc and if it was any bigger the TW would need other alterations to keep it handling safely. Let's face it,Yamaha has a winning recipe here, in production now for 15+ years? Outlived even the XT500, now that says something!

How about I pay myself the money and just loose 25 pounds?

Wouldn't that be just about like gaining 3.5 HP?

And it would equate to a spring/shock upgrade too!
