If the bike is [s]nearly[/s] perfect, that price is semi-reasonable. I'd probably offer them a little less and see what happens.

Here is a comparison of some that are out there. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/mcy/2482442777.html I just bought an o3 for $1500 and saw an o7 last week for only $1900. Of course those around me, probably aren't around you.

Bought an '05 with less than 250 miles last summer for $1500. I'd call it "nearly perfect". Of course I had to drive 8 hrs to pick it up, but it was well worth it. Found it on craigslist, committed the seller over the phone sight unseen (at that price it wasn't going to last long).

2007 for $3200 with 200miles on it. Hell NO! Tell them Kelly's Blue Book price for a 2010 at $3,375. 200 miles does not mean $780 mark up. That is if its in perfect condition which 99% of the time is not. Bring cash, ride it. If you like it. I would say $2300 take it or leave it. They say no walk away not worth it to me.

Prices are all over the map.

MSRP on the bike was only $3799 when it was sold new.

    Take it from there.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Powdercoated '87 frame, extended swingarm, YZ fork legs, ATV tire, 14/55, XT350 tank, spliced quick-release seat, disc brake conversion, beeg headlight, beeger rack, Lizrdcooler, Lizrdventz and bunch of other stuff all covered in invisible ink.

Way to much for a 2007. I bought a 2007 with 1200 miles for $2,250 in April of 2010 in Florida. Remember it is not almost NEW it is 4 years old. What it does mean it has been sitting around, tires getting older and maybe cracking, gaskets etc.. get dried out, not good for a bike. There are TW's out there for sale, so take your time.

Price is high but after buying lots of powersports over the years, I only use KBB & NADA as guides. Dealers, Banks, & DMVs use them like the books are law. Pricing depends on area & availability or what the market will bear. Or lastly, what the buyer will pay.

Finding TWs in my area used under 1500 is very, very challenging. Any Dual Sport for that matter. Plus due to weather it is not uncommon for bikes to have little miles. It seems the going rate is around $2500+. I had to drive about 125 miles for mine. The seller had two and by the time I got there one was already for sold as in gone & he held the other for me because the buyer wanted both.

If you are willing to wait or drive out of your area you might score big time. Not sure what your buying area is but good luck!
