A friend had been eying my Tdub for quite some time, until the other day, he called and said "I'm ready to buy a dual sport bike...what should I look for?" Of course, I told him what else is there worth buying than a TW. In the space of less than 5 minutes I got him on craigslist and found the bike. I drove him down with my trailer and 2 hours later, his new (barely used) '07 found it's new home.
It has 112 miles on it. Guy bought it for his son, but the son got in trouble and he took it away from him. I thought it was a pretty amazing find.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
Powdercoated '87 frame, extended swingarm, YZ fork legs, ATV tire, 14/55, XT350 tank, spliced quick-release seat, disc brake conversion, beeg headlight, beeger rack, Lizrdcooler, Lizrdventz and bunch of other stuff all covered in invisible ink.
Very nice looking bike. Its not even broken in yet.
If you can't find it, grind it
Wow.. I think that might be my favorite TW color scheme: awesome catch!
1997 TW, well loved, a bit modified.
