When I heard about the quake I was hoping Washington DC was about to break off and sink into the Potomac River.

We don't even get out of bed for a 5.8.

It will be interesting how this shakes out in the east where they don't build for it. Gotta be pretty frightening if you've never been through one.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Powdercoated '87 frame, extended swingarm, YZ fork legs, ATV tire, 14/55, XT350 tank, spliced quick-release seat, disc brake conversion, beeg headlight, beeger rack, Lizrdcooler, Lizrdventz and bunch of other stuff all covered in invisible ink.

Add Martha's Vineyard slipping into the Atlantic.

Nah but the east coast got together and mailed a collection plate out west for repair costs.

The Washington Monument apparently has a crack in it near the top. Wonder what that will cost to fix.

Why? Do you want all the carp to get sick and die?

Hey all. I am here in DC (but from Ojai, CA) so it was pretty funny watching everyone freak out. Also of note, I commuted to work on the TW yesterday--crossing back over the Memorial Bridge on the way home, I thought I was entering a post-apocalyptic movie set (maybe Transformers 8). All the DC gov't workers walking to their homes in NoVA, heads hanging low, worried eyes. Hahaha.

Another great experience on the T-Dub.
