Hello everyone. I've been an avid reader of this forum for quite some time and finally registered. I find this site to be very civil and informative. I've been riding motorcycles on and off for the last 30 years and have been bitten by the Tw bug. Most of the mods on my bike are thanks to the info passed on from you folks. The wife wants to know which one of you I can send the bill to. I look forward to being a member of this site and hope I can add something worth while from time to time. Blair

My girlfriend asked the same thing. Lol. Just when you think your done with the mods another "absolutely necessary" part wanders onto the credit card

Welcome aboard! I don't know what our wives are talking about. If that's your bike, looks to me like you only have the essential, bare minimum upgrades on that thing.

I try to tell her that all the changes I've done so far are for my safety and comfort. Don't know how I'm going to explain the future machine gun mounted on the handlebars though.

That would be for safety too, right?

    Welcome to the addiction.

Ask your Wife if she has any idea how expensive it is to own an F1 racing team . . . the TW is a bargan !

Welcome, and I have to agree - TW's are one of the less expensive addictions around.
    My handle is B-dub, I ride a T-dub, and drive a V-dub.

Does your wife have any idea how expensive drinking in a bar can be?

I shall long remember a T-dubber walking across the lawn dragging his gear, refusing to make eye contact, and quietly mumbling,

"Got to go Ridin." And he would come back healed, for a quart or two of gas. Computes.

Actually most of the changes I've done to the bike are homemade. I'm too cheap to pay retail prices for most things in Canada, which appear to be twice what you fellows pay in the States. One exception was for the kick starter parts and pieces, just shy of $400. When I figure out how to post photos I send some along. As far as the cost of drinking goes, the wife will never know as long as I keep drinking in the closet with all the lights off, where things like that should be done
