TW200's big brother? What do you guys think.

I really like this bike because it reminds me of a suped up TW. What do you guys think if I happened to have the money and was looking for a second larger bike to commute and play a bit. http://scramblerducati.com/en/bike/desert-sled

Cool looking machine. Needs some racks to be a good adventure bike.

I liked it until I found a price:

    $11,395 (Red) and $11,595 (White).

Might as well get a new Africa Twin or used BMW with all the farkels already - or 3 TWs.

Way to much for a dirt or dual sport bike....don't need the power or price tag....if I wanted speed or the cost, I'd buy an Indian...or Victory:

Good point, for 11k you can get a good used GS and a back up used TW. But I think Ducati is going right way with a more dirt style bike.

Isn't every bike TW's big brother?
    It's nice.

"Dirt style" is a cosmetic & marketing term. "Dirt competent" is a horse of a different color. Let's just see if any Ducatis make the podium at finish of the upcoming Dakar Rallye.
