Brake Petal Tip w/ Brake Saver Cable

    ...

Is there an aftermarket petal with tip and cable available for TWs?

I've got stock petal with tip mounted but the tip is not too secure???

i'm not quite sure what your asking, but the mod i did to enlarge my brake petal was weld the end of my stock foot peg onto the end to make it an easier target to stomp on.

several people, including tw-brian have added a "brake-snake" cable from the pedal to the edge of their skidplate to prevent snagging of sticks and brush.
    littletommy and Rockit like this.
1994 TW226- 6spd. 10w-40 synthetic, XTHidden Content , XT225 stainless header, +2" Joemama swingarm, lizrd cooler, +20% fork springs, +25% rear spring, 2001 speedo w/ trip odo, pro taper atv bars, bark busters, shinko 241 front tire, front fender w/ mr bracket bracket, Hidden Content , o-ring chain, ricochet skid plate, Hidden Content , XT225 rear brake cam lever, folding-tip shifter, cycle rack, kolpin 1.5 aux tank & 1450 pelican case. Petals? I thought they were pedals like on my bicycle.
Silly me, maybe I should stop trying to make them go around in a circle then.
A brake snake cable does really help prevent brush from getting stuck between brake mechanism and frame thus bringing bike to a halt. Most of us build our own brake snake from aircraft cable or dog chains. Year ago a wildly overpriced commercial version was available but still required custom instllation. Check Amazon or favorite bike accessory vendor.

    You say:
    Tomayto, Tomhto, Tomatoe or Catsup.

    I say:
    Rooster's Beak
    (Pico de Gallo)

I was hoping Tusk made a 'Break Petal'
    with 'Break-Cabel', for the 'TWubya'.

(I'm getting rid of this dumb-old-keyboard)

Guess there still are commercial offerings, some simple, 31l+HKXMdDL._SX425_.jpg
    Hammerhead Brake Snake

Some not so simple.AltRider R113-2-2522 Black 22mm DualControl Brake Enlarger with Riser and Brake Snake Kit

While I don't endorse nor thoroughly understand either certainly the last offering really gives you something big to stomp on.

    Thanks Fred,

The Brake Enlarger with Snake Kit is what I was looking for.
I thought, maybe Tusk made one for the TW.

I wanna feel that leather, when I ride.

Do your bikes actually have a cable? My 1993 has the metal rod as linkage. Maybe I'm off base.

We are talking about, a safety cable
more like this example, Ken, to keep
the brake pedal from possibly bending
    or breaking:
