50 Degrees in NY!! Woo Hoo!!

A little respite from typical Jan. weather in NY, with 50 degrees and no precip. Took the '13 out for a 20 mile cruise and planned on hitting some seasonal roads. Seasonal roads were nothing but ice. Oh well, stayed on the back roads and got me anxiously anticipating Spring.

About 55 F in the north end of Las Vegas Valley.
Had steady rain all day yesterday/early evening.
Snow on the mountains, west and north.
Snow level looks down to about 5,000/5,500 feet.

Comfortable for a ride with a open face 3/4 helmet.
Only went to Sportsmans Warehouse and back, about 12 miles.

    Did you know?...
Nevada is Spanish for snow capped.
We have more mountain ranges than any other state.
