Any tall riders on a TW200?

Looking for a fun bike bike for camping etc. My son is picking up a 2015 but he's big guy at 6'3 and 220lbs. Is there any way he can still make this a fun bike for him. All I've ever owned is Big ADV bikes like GSA's Teneres etc. He grew up riding dirt bikes and has taken my Tenere on camping trips in the past. Right now I don't even own a bike so it will be good to have a bike I can borrow from him. Haha. His friend just bought an old Trail 90 so he was looking at those and I talked him into a TW200 because it seems like every person I've ever talked to that's owned one loved it. Just a fun capable play bike.

So to make this work what are the must have upgrades? It already comes with wider pegs though I doubt they are lowered. How tall of bars and risers can you go before having to extend cables etc? Anyone make a Tall seat for it.

This is his pic of him taking the Ténéré camping. He picks up the TW on Sunday. I'll post pics when I see it. Looking forward to hearing what mods to make this tall guy friendly. Maybe I'll pick one up,for me if I like it.

And a pic of me on my Ténéré going to work.

    Welcome,
There are many of us who are tall and heavy.
Handle bar risers and/or high rise ATV bars along with larger foot pegs make the bike more comfortable.

You can do a search on this topic to get all the details.

2" is about the maximum you can raise the bars before you need to either re-route cables or replace them. I have 2" Rox anti-vibration pivoting risers that work well for me (I'm 6') and my son, who also enjoys riding my TW (he's 6'3").

ProTaper ATV high rise bars work well and you can also add risers.

I haven't had mine very long, but I'm 6'3" 215 and I've been having a blast on it, all stock.

I am 6' 5" 250 lb and have had 3 TWS and had fun with all of them. It is the most versatile motorcycle I have ever owned.
BTW I have owned more than 50 motorcycles in my life, no I am not a dealer but I have been riding more than 50 years.

Your avatar looks nothing like your description of yourself. 50 bikes, yikes. I thought I had a habit.

I'm a ways behind ya in motorcycle ownership with maybe around 15 but never a TW and to be honest never even considered one because of my size. I've always been envious of the shorter riders because no matter what bike I ride it looks like I'm riding a PW50. I've always liked the TW's from their functionality though. I think it could be a really fun bike.

I'm 6-2, my mASS is around 95 kg.
Have fairly short legs and a long body,
Don't find the fit much of an issue.
I did change angle of the handlebar slightly.
    Ride long & prosper
