Where do you carry youre coffee or other beverages, does anyone have a cupholder mounted ?
I have a stainless 20 ounce cup with a lid that fits between the throttle cables and handlebars. Okay for street use, wouldn't plan on it staying offroad.
I got this idea from Darnold on this forum. Buy one of those super cheap cup holders from any store with Automotive stuff. You know the ones that hang on the door. Zip tie it to the front fork and you have a cup holder.

Back in the "day" (southern AZ) , late '60's, having gotten out of the navy and going to college, there were some that mounted early gimble mounted beverage carriers on their bikes . Also of the time was the fact that pepsi (favorite because of the identifiable graphics) was in steel cans with alum top for a pull tab. The deal was to cut the top and bottom out, and split the can on the seam. Done properly, you had a springy cover that slipped over the one off sale beer you bought at the 7-11 or what ever. Crossing the city people might make multiple beverage / hydration stops to buy another "pepsi". No extra insulation value, but the beverage seemed to not need it as it evaporated in the desert sun. Never did this myself of course, merely an observation. rw
The gimbled cupholders are sold in marine (boat) stores.
I've got a 16oz stainless thermos that goes everywhere with me. Holds a Starbucks medium coffee no problem. In town or off road, it works perfectly on the stock TW rack, or I just throw it in my pack.

I use a full face helmet. Not so simple. Anyone develop a straw for biking? GB
