I just pulled the plug today (the bike was not starting, I wanted to see if fuel was getting to the cylinder) and it was all white! Not grey, WHITE! I can't believe they set the bike so lean at factory. Shouldn't they be afraid of making it run too hot?? I seriously don't get it. Moreover, while doing the carb tune up (needle shim, 130 jet, unplugging pilot jet) I noticed they set the pilot screw all the way in! My my!

I still can't believe they have to set the carb that way to meet emission standards.

Believe it! That's one reason why you will find so much carb mod info on this fourm. You are going to replace that spark plug too, arn't you? (small joke, sorry.) m.
