    Headlight shroud problems

Hi I am a new user and I got a 2003 tw200 with 2000 miles on it. It is stock other than the racks and a very clean bike. I have one problem though, the headlight shroud comes loose. The screw on the bottom is fine but where it hooks to the rubber peices on either side, itwont stay on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
    Parker

The screw may be tight; but you could loosen it and see if the shroud will slide upwards and re-tighten it.

the steel headlamp bracket ( headlight stay) can be easily tweaked especially the two upper ears where the grommets are so you can tweak it around a bit and bring it back to specs

The above responses are correct. Just take out the screw at the bottom and the shroud "tabs" should be right under the rubber grommets. If not carefully bend the mount back. They are pretty sturdy but can get knocked out of alignment during a fall. The shroud will not fall off but it won't stay connected with the vibration during riding. Mine got bent from another motorcycle falling partially on it but I didn't notice the issue until I saw that it wasn't in the rubber mounts.
