    does anyone have gold wheels?

    hello all,

Just wondering does anyone have gold wheels on their bikes? im just working on my new tw125 at the minute and the wheels could do with a refurb and I quite like the thought of gold wheels.

ive searched google for pictures but couldn't really find anything.

    thanks in advance
    Darren.

If your only going to ride on the street then paint away. Just put a good clear coat to protect them from grime and chain lube.

I had some wheels built for my KTM and went with gold rims:

I loved the look. Might give you some ideas.

Maybe if you post a photo of your bike now a Photoshop wonk could give it gold rims pretty easily!

Be sure to use some good paint with a high pigment count and be real sure the surface is CLEAN!! Also take care when remounting the tires. Make sure the paint is dry ( No Odor) then put on several layers of masking tape so you don't scrape the paint. Take it slow and use many coats, letting each coat dry then apply several coats of clear to protect it. Post some pictures when your done.
