    Arriving my garage-soon!

    2018 XT250
    Yesterday, I traded in the 2016 Moto Guzzi V7 II.
    It went past too many dirt roads!

    The Yamaha is coming from Utah in a week or two.

    Change it to what?!

    I traded a 45 day old, 800+ miles on the clock, 2017 TW200 on the Moto Guzzi.

    Not unhappy with TW, but originally intended to get the XT250 last December, to (hopefully) better handle highway miles.

    XT250, so nice. I'll bet a lot of folks here wrestled with the TW200 vs. XT250 enigma, I know I did. Those that have both at the same time... Lucky Ducks.

    From O'Reilly's I got
    NGK spark plugs at $2.49 each
    3 quarts (2 changes) Castrol 20/50 4T oil at $6.49 each
    KN-140 oil filter (no 4 hole versus 3 hole issues, as with the KN-143) for $7.69 (they price matched Cycle Gear)

    Probably go to Cycle Gear tomorrow for
    chain lube (prefer the wax based type)
    spare tubes
    tire irons

    Beyond that, it will probably stay stock.

    I can strap a small bag on the rear seat for
    compact foot pump
    Seal-N-Air
    tire irons, etc.

    With a 2.6 gallon tank, I may not need to carry TruFuel, as I did on the TW

    I think differently of those XT's sonce I just read a ride report of someone riding his XT250 with minimal gear across the US on the TAT. And it didn't miss a beat. I thought rides like that were for BMW adv bikes costing 12kor more

    I am hoping it will get me to to my ranch in Arizona (~220 miles) on highways and then get me up the last 3/4 mile Jeep trail.
