Freind of mine is looking for a tank for a tw 200 84 to 86. I think they were the same tank. Let me know if any one knows of one, or a tank that would fit.
I don't think the different year of tank will be a problem. You may want to look for an 87 and newer though.

There were no 84-86 TW's. Is it possible that your friend has a BW?
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
Powdercoated '87 frame, extended swingarm, YZ fork legs, ATV tire, 14/55, XT350 tank, spliced quick-release seat, disc brake conversion, beeg headlight, beeger rack, Lizrdcooler, Lizrdventz and bunch of other stuff all covered in invisible ink.
The front & back tires all wide, not sure what it is, after thinking about. Mike
Yep thats a Big Wheel. Have no idea if a tw tank would fit it or not.

Big Wheels use a completely different tank. They are bolted down in four separate spots and don't use the rubber puck mounts like a TW tank does.
from that drawing the bw tank looks similar to the newer xt250 tanks.
