Just check out oil level-brake levels. Oh heck anything with liquid... If you can trust the dealer then battery level won't be an issue for the rest of the year.

    Tire pressure,chain adjustments etc.

"NOW" go out there and get use to the way she rides and handles.................... (o;. Have a blast....................................OMM.

I think its gonna be perfect for me. Im coming from a wingy rm125 dirt bike, im to old to be trying to keep her revved up and flying all the time, it definitely wasnt a trail bike.

Cant wait to get on the tw, seemes like the perfect bike for the part of alaska i live in.

The stock chain does suck, but there isn't a reason I can think of not to use it until it dies. Only problem with it is that it doesn't last as long as it should.

If your dealer there is anything like my dealer where I bought this bike, don't trust them to do anything right. Check everything that's important to you, like the motor oil and tire pressure. I should have gone over the entire thing before I bought it, but it was late, I was tired and I was eager to get it home. I still need to adjust a turn signal that for some reason, the assembler must have thought existed to signal aircraft.j

Good luck with your bike! I'm sure you'll it. Welcome to the forum and I'd love to see some AK / TW pictures.

The stock chain will wipe out both of your sprockets much quicker then if you put a decent chain on now and get a lot more miles out of them. Once worn you have to replace them all as a set for maximum life.

Oh and make sure the battery overflow tube is connected to the battery.

Double check all of your nuts and bolts for tightness.. Much depends weather an old salt or cabin boy got to assemble it out of the crate.
