    Extended foot shift lever

I used the search function and remain as confused as when I started my search........

When I took putt-putt for a spin today, it became evident that I will need a LONGER shift lever........suggestions greatly appreciated!

I bought this one for for my Black Widow last year. $30 on Amazon. I couldn’t shift well with the stock shifter while wearing my MX boots (Size 9) it’s perfect and I plan to buy one for my 06

I just cut mine with a hacksaw and welded in a piece. Much cheaper.

-Another good reason to go with malleable steel rather than a relatively brittle aluminum alloy. Saving 20 grams on a 300 pound trail bike is not going to get one invited to the US ISDE team.
Personally when I tuck my toes in in a proper attack stance my foot slips back on peg so as to be centered over the foot's arch. This puts shifter too far forward so I have to move foot to manage an upshift. Next time I ride with someone with a longer foot peg I will bum a test ride and so as to refine my opinion.
