"FLY RACING" brand MX helmet ??

I recently picked one of these up at my local Dirt bike accessory shop at 50% off for $60. I bought it due to the fact that they had one big enough to actually fit me very good ( XXL ) is DOT certified, it has a decent adjustable visor, and I love it's light weight and less important, it has some pretty cool graphics...

Did I do OK or are there negative thoughts and issues with this one ? It does possibly appear to be made of some type of light plastic rather than carbon fibre or fiberglass like my regular street helmets.

Mine has served me very well for 4 years now. The only downside that I have found is the face shield is softish and scratches fairly easy. The upside is that a replacement shield is $19.99.

It won't be greed which destroys America. It will be envy.

Man who runs in front of motorcycle gets tired. Man who runs behind motorcycle gets exhausted.
