    Motorcycle Air BnB

This may be a job for my buddy bike:

Looks like there are some safeguards in place in case someone drops your bike while it’s rented to them.

Great idea but I guess I'm possessive of my bike, maybe if I had a fleet of them I could rent one out. On the plus side they have to provide insurance.

In this litigious world that going to create a bunch of trouble for the renter and their own insurance company, even if the rentee retains their own insurance.
Easier and cleaner when you have a "buddy" or friend borrowing your bike for free.
Once you rent-for-profit it'll be another whole game for you if your rentee has an accident that includes property, personal injury or worse.

After hearing the horror stories from a friend of mine that used to own a motorcycle rental I'd stay away. They included a fellow from China who rented his brand new B.M.W.. Rode it to Mexico where he was not supposed to be and sold it! The bastard flew back to China and laughed about it. Also another guy rented his FJR-1300 and then let his drunk friend try it out. Said drunk slammed the bike into a curb totaling it. The Putz then sued my friend even though the renter signed a contract saying no one but him was allowed to ride it.

I'm the only one who has ever ridden my bike...I may consider letting a select few try it just so they know what I have to work with, but the idea makes me nervous. Definitely not to stranger. Insurance is not very generous here.
