Just picked up a 1995 tw200 with 2200 miles. Seems to run great, but the back blinkers don't work...looks like someone taped them up, possibley layed it down at some point??

Anyways, love the bike so far but wondering where the best place to order parts from? Wanting to change the filter/oil and also replace a few things.

Not in love with the paint scheme, might do something about that later, but for now I can live with it

Any help or advice with these machines would be greatly apreciated.

    Thanks,

    Rob

Each shop online has best prices on certain parts so you need to shop around. There is also a pretty good chance you have a local dealer, which sometimes are cheaper depending on the part since you wont have to pay the shipping (for example, I bought my air filter from the local shop.)

I have seen Stadium Yamaha mentioned a few times on the site, also an extra discount code for it at the moment.

Many members also swear by Rocky Mountain ATV, though personally I have had issues with them.

Bike Bandit has been pretty good to me recently.

    Hope this helps.

Oh, and grats on the TW, welcome to the club.

Welcome! You've got the "Fruit Loops" bike! Even though its not my favorite paint scheme it does look like a VERY clean bike.
If you can't find it, grind it

Thanks for the info and welcoming me.

I'll try some that were mentioned.

I'm in olympia Washington and do have a local yamaha shop I'll try also.

Haha...yes, the fruitloop bike fits it well....though I don't like it..haha. Still a great bike so far.

A little dusty from siting in my buddies shop for a long time but other than that it seems amazingly clean for a 95.

I forgot the mention the service and repair manuals

    https://tw200forum.com/index.php?/top...epair-manuals/

I would also take a glance and the technical help section, there are tutorials on how to do everything.

The only reason my bike runs, is because of what I learned on this forum.

manuals downloaded, will change oil, clean airfilter and clean it up a bit tommorrow.

    Also,

I'm in Olympia wa., my buddy said he'd sell me the bike for $850. I offered him $500, a 10oz bar of silver and a few fresh salmon steaks and he accepted. Seems like a good deal for this bike to me but not really sure. What do you guys think?

Wow twRob! I'd have paid $850 for that bike!! I'm just south of you in Oregon, I had to pay $1400 for a 1994 that was not as nice as yours!! I'd say you got a steal!

Check out www.ProCycle.us for parts link here I'm partial, I work there...
