Seems there are several 428 o-ring chains on right now. Some under $55.00 with free shipping. Make sure of the length. Some are 132 some are 120 some are smaller. Also saw the large steel foot pegs as well.

    Here is a 132 http://www.ebay.com/...f5fa2ab&vxp=mtr

Foot pegs: Not sure why they only fit up to 2009?? Did the pegs change in 2010-2012??? http://www.ebay.com/itm/STEEL-FOOT-P...117146&vxp=mtr

I would get the larger one and cut it down if you are running stock 50 sprocket. Then if you do go with a larger sprocket you can add to it later. I run a 52 rear sprocket and 124 links. Can't say enough good things about the o-ring chain differences, bike seems to feel much smoother while riding and shifting.

I'm not affiliated with these sales just FYI for the rest of you that have thought of getting an o-ring chain. $39.99 and $7.99 shipping is a great deal 132L

I brought these chains to attention in a former thread about six months ago. They are gold KMC chains and according to qwerty, they are just as good as the next. Good to see they came back up for sale. Great price and find for those in need. I personally could not convince myself to throw a gold chain on my bike (petty I know). I have talked to the quads guy that did the cheap did o-rings for us a little while ago and he said he will be sure to let me know if he gets another case. Still cant believe I got one for $29 shipped.

That was a good deal that's why I bought 2.

There are some black o-rings on there as well for under $55.00 with free shipping

I have the same pegs on my tw, the bike is a 2006 California model. The pegs are like a pot metal . I am 240 lbs. and the pegs work fine. Easy for my size 13 boot. I put a used yamaha mx 250 shifter lever on the tw, It adds 1 inch of length so much better shifting.

Those pot steel pegs woked fine for me until they didnt. Thats why I spent all that time modding those ims rm80 pegs so I dont have to ride home on one foot again.

I recently bought both as well. The chain seems very decent. I have about 100 miles on it and it has stretched slightly like all chains do (new sprokets breaking in too) and is very smooth. So far I'm very happy with the $30 chain.

The pot metal pegs though, flat out suck. I can tell they're about to shatter should they get smacked by an insect at 40 MPH. Furthermore, the flat area actually slopes towards the rear of the bike, opposite your foot, as such your boot hits the front edge even more pronouced than an OEM or quality peg. Waste of money. I'm gunna mod some like Palm did.
