    Seat Break In?

We are having some wet, nasty weather here in Western Pa so i haven't had much of a chance to break in my new TW200. I have noticed the stock seat is rather firm - better than my old Yamaha 650 but still a little tough on the butt! Does the seat "break in" or soften up a little with use?

I see that the Seat Concepts is just a foam and cover kit. What are my options for a complete seat including the pan?

Limited – with the seat concepts mod, it uses your old seat pan, but adds more foam and an increased profile – the difference in comfort is like night and day

The other options include the “Coleman” seat cover – does what it says on the tin – some improvement, not sure I’d describe it as “significant” though

There are a few die-hards on here who use the “sheep skin cover” – but we don’t like to name names for obvious reasons …….

Thank you for your suggestions but unfortunately(and surprisingly) none of those companies provide complete seats for the TW200. Corbin makes one for the XT250 but not the TW. As popular as the TW is, I would think there would be many seat options out there.

There are some direct imports from Japan - but different shapes meant for custom (TW) bike builders, and priced out of range at 400 bucks and over .....

You can get the seat concepts in varying densities. It would be your cheapest option and they are pretty nice compared to the stock seat. Many of us love them.

What is the material like on the seat concepts cover? I find my 2015 stock seat gives me a wedgy. If I could get softer and more slippery I might go for it.
