I bought this petcock on ebay a month or two ago for my 87. Just recently tried to install it but it didn't fit. It sits too close to the tank and cant get the screws in. It said it fits years 87-10. Was wondering if maybe I got sent a newer one for 2011 and up? If it does fit the newer tw's, anyone who needs one let me know. Didn't try it soon enough so cant get my money back for it now.

    The one I bought.

I just went out and looked at my '12. It has the long neck. The one with no neck wouldn't fit my bike either.
