They are the same color and the turtle seems to be sporting an aftermarket shell. I'm going with the turtle.

It won't be greed which destroys America. It will be envy.

Man who runs in front of motorcycle gets tired. Man who runs behind motorcycle gets exhausted.

Thing is if it gets too cold the turtle will bury itself into the mud. Of course your Dub may do the same thing.

Turtle wins unless it's an 87...

I had to go back and look again after reading comments, I thought that was a kickstand pad...

I am quite sure the fastest bike is the one with the skinnyest person on it. I put a 47 on once to have my bike to a bit better on pavement and found when it top gear unless I laid down on it, it would tend to slow down. Any incline or headwind I was in 4th. Back to stock after a few miles.

I will bring the 47 if anyone is interested in it along with some oem chain to the Swell.

A bit early in the year for turtles isn't it? Then again the ants are starting to get active again too.

We have a few spots on the logging roads here where they cross between the lakes. We almost ran one over that immerged out of a puddle in front of us.

Was fishing with my son in law in SC. I caught a turtle. At first I thought I had hooked a limb as it came in but slow and I took it easy not to break my line. When it's head came up I wondered what the heck was on my line. He recognized it as a snapper. I barely had it by a front leg and said get a stick and bring it out with me on the line in one hand and his belt in the other to keep him from sliding into the pond. I reached down and grabbed it by the tail, wow, I didn't know a turtle had that long a neck. He came out of his shell and almost reached his tail. I let go and let him go back into his domain. One thing about the Northwest, no snapping turtles or poison snakes.

You do have snakes in the northwest. There are snattlerakes up there but you will only see them on the dry side of the mountains.
However you have bears on both sides
As for snacking turtles, most can extend their necks far enough to bite something near their tail.
Some can take your fingers off in one snap and that smarts big time.
