    Just Pulled the Trigger

Thanks everyone for the help answering questions, etc. After some looking and research, found an 18 at a local dealer for $5100 otd. Have ridden dirt bikes for quite a while, this is my first street legal one though. I'm sure I'll be hitting you guys up or searching for questions as I run into them, so far having a lot of fun tooling this thing around

Noticed the 2017's are $3895 and the 2018's are only $4195. How could you even get to $5100?? Oh well enjoy the new toy.

Welcome and congrats on the very new bike! I'm sure you'll enjoy bombing around town legally and being able to hop on a trail whenever you like.....best of both worlds!

Sounds like a great way to do the Mississippi River Trail. I've been through there on my bike (pedal), but sure wished I had been on the TW a couple of times. Enjoy!

I'd say from everyone I called, it's easy to get to and past $5100 otd. Especially with IL tax which added $150 over Iowa. Add in the rest of the taxes and fees and it's significant. All of the other local-ish dealers I talked to were at $5500 otd and wouldn't move much (most tried to talk me up to a pricier bike). Don't get me wrong, the madison ad is a great deal (probably would've been about $4800 otd for me) but is not typical in my experience.

I paid $4,703.49 OTD for my 2017, 27 Dec 2016 and thought the lowered price was an exceptional deal.
