This is a skill I still need to figure out. Getting the front wheel off the ground would help so much on the trail getting over logs and rock steps. I've accomplished some unintentional wheelies but they always ended...not like yours. Now with a larger diameter rear ATV tire jacking up the rear end even more makes it that much harder. You make it look so easy.

Hidden Content A ride in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact I'm dragging a body should be entirely irrelevant?

Lots and lots of practice in the yard before I ventured out onto pavement. I started out doing 1st gear wheelies and dragging my feet for balance and stability. If you plan on trying this, remove the rear fender and tail light. I bought a cheapy Ebay LED tail light mounted underneath, out of the way of the ground when I go over a little too far.

On my XL 350 Honda, I could do wheelies in first second or third gear for well over a quarter mile.
I even got to where I could do a slalom course in a wheelie. I preferred second gear wheelies because that's where I had the most control.
Yes I crashed a lot learning the skill. I began to worry if I was hurting the engine by oil starvation doing long wheelies because the oil would
pool to the rear and might not be picked up by the suction side of the oil pump.
