Hey everyone, there is an 89 tw for sale for 850 and I am wondering if I should jump on it? No idea about mileage. And the guy says its in good condition.

could be a good deal, but it all depends on condition. for a reference point: i got my 94 last year, with about 3k miles, for 900... but mine needed two turn signals and a new rear fender.

It's worth a look. I'd probably buy it if it were in my area.

"Dude means nice guy. Dude means a regular sort of person."

Make sure it has been registered and has a clear title. In my state, if the previous owner didn't register the bike for a few years, the buyer gets to pay all of the back taxes when registering the bike. A year or two is not a big deal, but 5-10 years adds up quickly. Title has to be clear and on hand for me to even talk to a seller unless it will be strictly dirt.

    Good luck.
