So I just got back from Japan a week ago, and I finally got through a load of motorcycle photos. Obviously, I was checking every nook and cranny for parked TWs and I did see quite a few. Here are the pics.

This is really the best shot of ANY motorcycle I got while over there, during a night photography session in Shinjuku. I'm sorry they do not

all look like this. Most of the time I just carried my little point-and-shoot, and quite often I was finding bikes while it was raining or at night.

This is the first one I spotted in Osaka. Looks to be a totally stock TW200. I think they came stock with round headlights over there.

I could be wrong about that though.

Here's a nice one with an extended swingarm.

This one is really nice, and pretty close to what I will be doing with mine.

    Nice one with white tank.

A fat tire cousin of the TW, the Suzuki Van Van.

This one is really cool. I've never seen a TW with "attack" style handlebars. I saw a few bikes with bars like this. Not my thing, but cool nonetheless.

Tucked out of sight with some nice Tokyo graffiti.

    Custom blue tank.

    Another Van Van I think.

    Stock TW225.

This is the one I wish I had better photos of. It was pretty much pitch black and pouring rain, so this

is as good as it gets. This TW has a body kit like I have not seen anywhere else.

    Hope you enjoy these!

    Bart

The last picture someone else asked about that tank. Its just a fiberglass slip over cover. Its super expensive. $364.20. The rear tracker style seat is about $500+

Nice. I'm guessing "bike night" in Tokyo would be a heckuvalot more interesting than the typical "cruisers and crotchrockets" events here.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Powdercoated '87 frame, extended swingarm, YZ fork legs, ATV tire, 14/55, XT350 tank, spliced quick-release seat, disc brake conversion, beeg headlight, beeger rack, Lizrdcooler, Lizrdventz and bunch of other stuff all covered in invisible ink.

Bike night? No way they have huge motorcycle gangs in Japan. They are usually low level muscle for the yakuza in japan.

Yeah, its insane over there, and awesome. Honestly, in the big cities like Osaka and Tokyo, I saw more scooters than bikes, and normally, I think scooters are lame, but you really start to like them over there. Check this one out, this dude's is totally pimped out!!! I would ride that shit!!

I can post more bike pics, if anyone is interested, I have a lot more.

    Interesting.

I'm also finding that increasingly true of the crotchrocket crowd here. They appear to be a harmless group of stunters, streetracers, etc. but when you get the real 411 on them the real point of teir little "riding group" is often the drug trade, or worse.
