New Guy From El Dorado County

Donzo was training me. He left me for six weeks of RVing to the east coast, I have no one to ride with. I am an advanced street/hwy rider, but currently a dual sport rider moving rapidly to intermediate. Let me know if you are willing to accept this challenge. I will buy breakfast/lunch.

Hey Bear Slayer, my bike has FMF exhaust and I carry a police whistle. Is that enough protection from bears and lions?

Donzo warned us bout you and your police whistle. Normally it would be enough but problem is you'ld have to try to stay ahead of SkiPro.

Bear whistle my buttocks... Dave, ex CHP carries a 10mm with Buffalo bore! I pity the bear 😉
Wife and I are in Albuquerque now enjoying lots of chili. My wife lived here as a teenager and got me addicted to hot food.
Will try and post pics along the way.

Right, I remember Donzo's photos of Dave showing him the finer points of motorcycling in the El Dorado.
Good thing, 'cause the first time I rode with Donzo he fell right over.
Of course this was far beyond the end of a goat trail most of the way up a steep broken rock field above the tree-line climbing a 10,000 summit in a place he had never been before after leaving camp miles before with only the vague instructions of "Follow Fred".
I shouldn't tease Don, he really is an excellent rider. It's just no one warned him he doesn't have to really follow Fred.

Here is Donzo after loosing momentum in the loose rock. Admiral and Tweaker ride up to assist and possibly ask "Why did you follow that guy? "

Maybe you could fly your bike out. I will surly provide dinner and first two rounds for that.

Fred. Donzo promised he would not show anyone my crashes on ice, snow, mud and river stones in my first 430 miles. Damn, he promised. I have the Shinko 241 front tire now. Donzo promised that should help for my next 400 miles.
