I finally got my front tire mounted. I wanted a smallet front to keep steering and front end light. I like the look over the 244 Shinko. It even opened up a little clearance under the fender for mud.
I have to work today so I don't have the opportunity to try it20190330_132627.jpg
Yeah, that does look good. Bet it's nicer on pavement than the usual knobbie or Trials tires.
Nice to see something different than the Shinko 241 or Shinko 244 like the rest of us Lemmings (I'm one too).

no one is a lemming. The TW is the same bike for 30 years. Only so much can be done to the same bike. It's not wrong to use what works.
My thinking is that motorcycle's use a skinny front tire for a reason. The TW steering always felt heavy to me with the 244 and almost impossible to lift over bumps. I thought I'd try something smaller. Can't wait to try it. I'd like to have a second front wheel with a knobby mounted for a long day in the dirt
