How do they work, offroad? Let's say for dirt roads, sandy conditions, or just plain dirt trails.

IMHO, so long as conditions are dry, they work great. Its a 60street/40dirt tire. Keeping that in mind while riding on them, and you'll be fine. TIM

From what I've heard: dirt roads they'll be fine,......whichever you decide to ride in,air the tire down appropriately.....even with the OEM knobbies, airing down is crucial for excellant traction.Have fun!.

My wife and I run that front tire on firm gravel with good results........ We still are not at ease on sandy spots.. But we don't go out of our way to look for sand.. We've put on 5,000 miles now without feeling too out of control... We ran the stock tire for 5,000 miles and never felt stable on gravel "anything" We both like the feel on paved roads also. OMM.
