Met up with some local folks to do some dirt/trail riding this weekend. My first "official" outing aside from finding construction sites and drainage ditches to play in for a while. We had several hours of riding before everyone was a little too hot (next time we'll be starting earlier!!!).

I crashed a few times (seems to be fairly normal, as I was definitely not the only one), but it felt great for my first official time. Man was it fun. One of the crew even jumped a pond. Good stuff.

Here are some some pics and the jump (from the far end of the pond).

    Before we started riding (setup):

Can't wait to go again. I did small my left leg up a bit again, but my new boots helped make sure it didn't snap

I was gonna put up a vid of my first jump. Then I saw your jump. Not gonna publicize my lame jump.

My work tool box. From building custom bicycles for folks. Many spares.

Thanks Bumble...love me some Ti fasteners.

I was given a bunch of Ti bits for my Triumph Speed Triple.
Wish I good afford to convert the T-Dub to Ti!

What have you done with your TW today?

That’s a beautiful speedy. I had a nice Street Triple R in flat graphite grey and yellow. Loved that bike. Round headlights, so much better. Crappy pic, sorry. I have some better ones saved somewhere.

Technically it was yesterday... does it count?

    I added bar risers
    IMG_20190616_143727.jpgIMG_20190615_173502.jpg

Installed a givi base plate for my top case:
    IMG_20190616_143842.jpg

And found a way to install my old KLR soft panniers. They clip on the passenger footpegs frames but at the rear I had to add a small straps with a clip at each end (from an old backpack, with a clip added), and it worked:

    The final result:

I'm somewhat limited to 7lbs in the top case and 5lbs each for the panniers but for now it will do.
