Hey everyone, I'm new here to the forum.

I currently don't own a TW but someday soon I would absolutely love to. It's a sweet looking bike as it is, but I think I'd prefer the style without those squiggly graphics on it. So I was thinking it might be kinda cool to see other people's ideas of redesigning the bike. Or if you just want to play around with different colors of paint feel free to do so. So I drew out the basic bike with and without the square headlight and in a base of both white and black plastics.

Anyone want to take a stab at it? If you would want to see it in a different plastic color just let me know. It would be really easy for me to switch it over.

Myself, I'm kinda a fan of a simplified look:

    Here's the blank ones:

Or an example of a colored one:

    light green

    or dark green

Nice work!!! I am a fan of the simpler design myself. I just love the old SR500, what a classic bike that is. For that reason the round head light gets my vote. Color wise I think the yellow looks great, the dark green a little bit to military for my liking.

I must admit I'm a fan of the round headlight look. Either black on black or black and white.

I totally agree on the round headlights. They look pretty sweet.

I think this is a Special Edition TW225 in Japan:

(really wish we could get that here)

I really like this look, and I think it would look kinda cool in blue too

I believe it is a 20th anniversary special edition that Yamaha made in 2007.

i like these 3...just cause they are different and you don't see them...i've seen some army green bikes, black bikes, white bikes (mine) and the yellow/black is a stock euro color i believe...the kawi green color i think would look good...the light blue looks good (also stays true to yamaha even though its not their blue) and the orange almost like a lamborghini orange creamsicle color...nice job man!...looks like we may have a photoshop expert on our hands...def nice to do a mock up of a bike before you do it and decide you don't like it

I wish that were the case, but unfortunately it is a photoshopped version of the 2012-2013 TW with the Special Edition 2007 paint style from Japan over it.
