I don't think that you can go wrong with a Leatt brace. They have put a lot of research into developing it and I believe it will start to become a more common piece of safety equipment. I have a similar brace made by Alpinestars. I bought it after a downhill endo. I was very lucky in how I landed. I don't have much experience with it yet but I can say that it is somewhat restrictive and I will mainly use it during off road excursions.
