If you can love a V-dub, you'll be downright infatuated with a T-dub.. That is if you appreciate things that are mechanically and electrically reliable, haha.
I've been VW free for about three years now and have never been happier.
I have both the TW 200 and a VW Baja. The Baja is my currant daily driver and yes both are very simple and reliable and may I say affordable to own. You can't go wrong with either in my book.
I used to drive bugs but now I'm down to just two VW's the newest of which is a 1986 and yes I'm infatuated with the TW200, too though I certainly wouldn't mind owning another bug or two, too as I love the concept of a lightweight, simple, fun to drive or ride vehicle although most of what I would use a bug for I can accomplish with my TW so I would have to agree with OWT that for many situations the VW's have two too many wheels.
I do love my VW's though, and no I wasn't a Language Arts major.
