    Just bought my first TW!

I have wanted a Tw200 for a long time, perusing clist and other classifieds but never really finding the "right" deal. Then last week I was parking at the local coop and pulled up next to this sweet little TW. My poor lady had to hear me oozing with lust over the bike, cause it had "all the cool mods" and obviously was loved on. I told her "if I could buy a bike like that, I would". So we went in and did our shopping, and on our return to the car I noticed the owner of the TW was standing there! So I struck up a conversation and starting in on asking if he was interested in selling this little wonder. And to my surprise, he said YES! Then came the million dollar question...how much? He returned with "$950"! And that is when I got his number and acquired my first Tw200! See if you can name off all the different mods from the picture....

How is the round headlight attached? With stock OEM Japanese part or aftermarket mount? Congratulations on your purchase! Just bought one last week too and will be collecting it at the end of the month! These bikes promise many hours of fun! Ride Safe.

EDIT: +1 on additions... will you paint the Plastic Clarke Tank?

Congrats!!! And welcome to the board!

You will find a plethora of great information and advice here - great folks!!

I'm new to the TW, so I can't make much of a contribution to the advice but I love mine! I'm planning on doing a few mods too - cycle rack for sure and probably some bigger foot pegs and hand guards... jimbo windshield... we'll see!

I have no plans on painting the tank, I kind of like seeing how much gas I have... Not sure about the light bracket, as I don't have the stock one to base off of. Regards

Renthal bars, the seat concepts seat, fat pegs.

Didn't leave to much for me to do, but a skid plate and some panniers are on the list. Whats better than one round light? two...

Better off not painting those tanks, they almost always peel, flake, or bubble up later.

You got a killer deal on that bike! Best I have heard of in a quite a while.

What year is it and how many miles on it?

Just an fyi, I had my plastics linexed including the plastic tank. It creates a casing around it and does not peel off. Though the op doesnt want to change his tank this may be helpful to others that do.
