    Go Pro 3 With GPS

Any opinions on using a Go Pro 3 as a camera on a back packing and river running trip next summer?
I am looking for a new digital camera and confused by the variety of cameras available . I cannot afford the weight of multiple lenses and a single lense reflex camera so that is off the table. There are however a whole bunch of range finder style cameras with good zoom lenses - Nikon 1 for example.

Check out the GoPro website and you will be amazed at the quality of the videos that are produced with those little cameras.

It looks like Garmin has come out with a camera that looks pretty good. I think I will wait until the next generation comes along but it does look good.

I think the GoPro is absolutely your best bet.

Google the name "Abe Kislevitz" and watch some of his videos. They're amazing, which is probably the reason that he now works for GoPro. You can do a lot with them, and get some shots that you would never get with any other camera. And the mounting options are literally endless.
