    It just looks so perfect! I wonder where it would get hooked up to? It's mechanical so its gotta run off of a gear of some sort in the main case.... Perhaps where the starter gears are?

    XT350's, 600's and the SR's have them. They drive from a gear off the cam cover.



    I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

    Powdercoated '87 frame, extended swingarm, YZ fork legs, ATV tire, 14/55, XT350 tank, spliced quick-release seat, disc brake conversion, beeg headlight, beeger rack, Lizrdcooler, Lizrdventz and bunch of other stuff all covered in invisible ink.

    LB, Thanks for the info! I SO wish it were just a simple switch, but i know it's just wishful thinking..... The picture I grabbed said it was from a XT 550.

    Yeah. Well if that makes you mad take a look at the resetable trip odometer. Virtually all the other bikes in the lineup had them by the late 70's. We got them in '01.
