I would say just saw out your front tire with a shinko 241 and keep the back stock. Cheap and works great.

Only complaints i ever had riding street was due to the front tire being bumpy in turns. The shinko solved that with a much more even tread and still is great in dirt.

I like my Shinko 244 front tire in 5.10 size better than the stocker front both on and off road. No complaints with the stocker rear for both as well.

It's great to have a front tire that grips and leans on the pavement better than stock that still has aggressive enough tread and side lugs to bite in the corners when you're riding in the dirt.

Dirt might be a minority of your riding, but when you're out there you don't want any compromises in traction.

Anyone run the smaller (4.60) 244 on the front? I ask because that's what I plan to run. I have one in my shed that has 50-75% tread left off the rear of my WR250R. Ordered a stock rear.

I'm on my second SR244 in 5.10 & stock rear combo. I wouldn't run any other way. I got 8k miles out of the last set. There are no ill effects with this combo that I have found. Handled tail of the dragon fine and off road anything other than wet red clay it eats it up. Wet clay is sporting to ride on any tire
