    New to it

Just retired Marine Corps. Sold my bobber and bought a 1987 TW200 to rebuild. Just looking for ideas to go from here. Looking for more of a cruising bike. Maybe sometimes off road when I feel the need. Always in shape to ride.

As Hoot says, "welcome to the nut house". You will find more ideas than you can ever implement here, especially if you get good at searching the forum.

Sounds like you may be looking for a city bike with versatility. These are extremely popular in Japan and get modded to extremes there. Check the photos that have been posted here and elsewhere for the potentials. Welcome. Tom

Here's my bike (original - left top / without plastics - left bottom) and a couple of my aspirations (right). I've been loving the ride!
