We see the world not as it is, but as we are.
i finished these two sweet rides this past week.just gitting around to posting some pics of them .a 70 pro street camaro 572 with procharger, back half car,tubed,700rtrans.1200 hp.finished the blower hook up friday morning, short road test to wake up the neighbourhood ,and loaded on the trailer that night to go to the drags in p.e.i. that road test was exciting to say the least, i was never in a car that could light up its 15 in. wide tires at 50mph before .it was like driving on black ice at low speed ,3800 stall convertermakes for fun launches. the charger was a 440 at car that i swapped out for a 735hp 426 hemi, and swapped the rear gears 2.73 for 3.90 gears ,beefed up the tranny and added a gearvender overdrive to make it agood cruiser as well.it too will go like a scalded cat.couldn't drive it very far due to the fact we had open headers and didn't want someone to call the cops on us .it's gone to the muffler shop for 3 in. pipes and muflers will go for a longer drove when it comes back.then we can set up the overdrive controll better.yes i'm a gear head, and life is good!
here's a short clip of the pro street camaro.i was showing my son how it ran and he took a short vid.
Old school street rods! YUM! I've got 2 S10s, a 2wd with a 383 smallblock and an AWD with a 6.2 LS with the late heads. Both lay down about 480hp. The 2wd has a 3-stage nitrous set-up, and the LS has a variable flow set-up my son and I are still tinkering. Total snort on both engines is in the 300-315 range.
