    I will give it to him on his Tenth Birthday.

    The Bearcat is a nice little revolver. I had one of the first models many years ago. In a moment of foolishness I sold it to a coworker. I regreted it and tried to buy it back to no avail.
    I now have a couple of the old three screw Single Sixs and they are here to stay.

    That was my first gun...1976...I was 6....at ten I got to take it without supervision...still have it today...believe it manufactured in 1957...

    I am going to shoot it this weekend and then clean it and store it for 7 years.

    Wipe it down every year and clean out the old oil prior to giving it with fresh oil in seven.

    Only thing out there as good for a kid as an old S&W 48. The 48 is .22 rim mag, though.
