Speaking of Vietnam....I have a Sky Cop Buddy of mine, named Bill Harris, who lives in Saigon{yep they really still call it that, not Ho Chi Minh City}, Bill returned a couple of decades ago to find a daughter he fathered at Cam Rahn City...he found the place so changed and enjoyable, he moved there...coming home a couple of times a year to his native Michigan and to attend our Vietnam Security Police Reunions....while he lives in Saigon he can usually be found traveling around Vietnam on a Yamaha that his daughter provides, seems she owns a Yamaha Dealership in CRB....he splits his time between there and his home in Saigon....damn funny is a perverse sort of way, we killed each other in order to Americanize the Vietnam People...when the US decided to piss away the lives of both them and 60,000 Americans, Vietnam has become probably more free than we are over the last 25 years.

Anyway here are Bill and me in Dayton last April with some things he brought back for me on a trip to Nha Trang, my old base, just across the Bay from CRB{including a jar of Beach Sand}. Bill getting the keys to a new ride from his daughter, and me on the Beach at Nha Trang in 1969, and now I have a jar of sand from the same beach sitting on my book case:

So if you get towards Cam Rahn Bay on your Vietnam Adventure, drop by the local Yamaha Shop and say "Hello" to Bill's Daughter
