    Who celebrated the winter solstice? What did you do for it?

    Normally I go to a big bonfire. This year I spent the solstice on skates and put 44 miles behind me (roughly about 320,000 feet). See it here:

    Tiny Wheel, you rock! Thanks for sharing. I missed out on Pagan celebration this year.

    tiny-wheel-200 you have awesome videos. A set of studded up tires would be awesome on that ice too.

    One of our friends has been hosting a big solstice bush party for the last 25 years running. Hugh bonfire, burning of effigies, great food, lots of mind altering substances and big fireworks displays.

    Not seen that before but don't think we've got anywhere like that where the ice gets that thick over here

    Actually they do have skating in the Fens periodically. Not super often, and its not 44 miles long, but its there.
